Great Lakes Public Health Training Collaborative

The Region V Great Lakes Public Health Training Collaborative (GLPHTC) is part of a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) funded public health training program, created to improve the nation's public health by strengthening the competencies of the current and future public health workforce through the provision of education and training services.

The UM SPH Office of Public Health Practice and its Michigan PHTC are piloting a Certificate in Population Health & Health Equity  providing a two-year curriculum to osteopathic residents who are a part of the Authority Health graduate medical education program. Authority Health (formerly Detroit Wayne County Health Authority), an approved Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education (THCGME) program, is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
