Eden Wells, MD, MPH
Eden V. Wells, MD, MPH is Clinical Associate Professor, Epidemiology, and the Associate Director for the Preventive Medicine Residency at University of Michigan School of Public Health, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine, her current activities involve curriculum development, teaching, and applied public health practice training within the preventive medicine program; Dr. Wells also teaches graduate-level public health practice and applied epidemiology courses. Dr. Wells was recently with the Bureau of Epidemiology, Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH), serving as a medical consultant to the Bureau and as a medical epidemiologist. MDCH activities included investigation of, and response to, public health incidents and outbreaks, as well as preparedness planning for potential bioterrorism and pandemic influenza events. She completed medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, internal medicine training at Vanderbilt University Hospitals, and a preventive medicine residency at the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
