Jevon McFadden, MD, MPH
Dr. Jevon McFadden is a physician and medical epidemiologist with CDC’s Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response.
He has been assigned to the Michigan Department of Community Health as a Career Epidemiology Field Officer since July, 2011. From 2009-2011, Dr. McFadden completed CDC’s Epidemic Intelligence Service fellowship in applied epidemiology, during which he was assigned to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Dr. McFadden is board certified in internal medicine, and continues to practice general internal medicine on a part-time basis in Lansing. He is a commissioned officer with the U.S. Public Health Service, and serves as a clinician on a tier-1 federal disaster response team, with which he was recently deployed for the Hurricane Sandy response.
