Certificate of Completion
Upon successful completion of most trainings, participants will receive a Michigan Public Health Training Center Certificate of Completion evidencing their mastery of the competencies taught in the training Competencies are identified by the instructor of the course, and are based upon the framework of Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals as adopted by the Council on Linkages between Academia and Public Health Practice.
Participants in onsite courses must attend all course sessions and successfully complete all assignments to receive a Certificate of Completion; participants in online courses must demonstrate participation in the course, and successfully complete all assignments to receive a certificate.

Nursing contact hours
The Michigan Public Health Training Center at the University of Michigan School of Public Health is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Certified Health Education Specialists (CECH) for CHES & MCHES
The Michigan Public Health Training Center is a designated provider (ID# 99038) of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. CPH Recertification Credits
The Michigan Public Health Training Center is a pre-approved provider of CPH Recertification Credits by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
