Privacy Policy Statement

The Michigan Public Health Training Center (MPHTC) is committed to protecting your privacy. We understand the importance of keeping personally identifiable information such as your name, address, and phone number confidential. Any request on our Web site for your personal information will be used for Michigan Public Health Training Center business only. We will not disclose your information to outside parties, unless required by law or by credentialing agencies as appropriate, nor will it sold or distributed to a third party for advertising purposes.

To protect your privacy, we have adopted the following principles:


We will clearly state our privacy policy, and we will take reasonable steps to see that it is followed within our organization. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes.

The information we collect is used to process course registration. Students who have enrolled in a course and supplied us with contact information (phone number, mailing address, or email address) may be contacted by us regarding course changes or questions about their enrollment.

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes and collects the visitor's domain name, but not the e-mail address. If you supply us with your e-mail or mailing address, you may receive periodic information from us regarding new courses or educational opportunities. If you do not wish to receive such information, please let us know by sending us e-mail.


We take precautions to protect information you share with us from unauthorized access or disclosure.  We gather sensitive information using secure connections and data is stored on our secure servers.


The MPHTC website uses cookies to track logged in users.
