Kiarri Kershaw, PhD

Dr. Kiarri Kershaw

Dr. Kershaw is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Her current research focuses on understanding how contextual and psychosocial factors lead to disparities in cancer and cardiovascular disease risk. Specifically, she is interested in understanding the multi-level pathways through which racial and ethnic residential segregation lead to disparities in various chronic disease risk factors and outcomes. She is also interested in better characterizing the behavioral and biological factors linking chronic exposure to psychosocial stressors to obesity, inflammation, and cardiovascular outcomes.
