Martha Stanbury, MSPH
Martha Stanbury, MSPH, is Manager of the Environmental Health Surveillance Section, Division of Environmental Health, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. She is the Principal Investigator for the Department’s recently funded Environmental Public Health Tracking program; in addition, she is responsible for environmental and occupational health surveillance projects and emergency preparedness activities. Before coming to Michigan in 2001, she served in a number of positions at the New Jersey Department of Health. She has co-authored over 30 peer reviewed papers, a variety of health department reports, and two book chapters. She served on the Executive Board of the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) from 2007 to 2012. She received her Master of Science in Public Health, in health education, from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
